A big shout out and support plug to 555 Nonprofit Arts Gallery (2801 W. Vernor) after being recommended by Juli Lindsey to swing by for a visit to rub elbows with some of the local artists. I first unknowingly ventured into their organic farming crop store which was a goldmine of quality seeds, planting utilities, etc. that reset how I might either grow my own fruits/veggies or perhaps directly support their own grown food. Afterwards I along with another group was given introductions by Erik Garant as first timers of the gallery to the history of the building, how the artists are featuring their works and future plans with included present construction renovations.
Amazing concept: The gallery transformed most holding cells of the former police station into artists’ rooms to conduct business and showcase their assortments. The whole ambiance of good vibes and inspiration felt welcoming and pristine. After collecting the names of the potential artists I wanted to possibly work with, I made it a definitive point upon myself to return and hopefully talk to Erik about
possibly utilizing my own chamber to showcase my work along with the other artists, but first things first:
I’m close to finishing my next five Repercussion Agendaz art pieces as I’m constructing this entry. Preparation meeting opportunities hopefully yield a lucky reward and a new partnership.
Still grinding…..
