I’m only one man, but I’m slowly constructing a masterpiece here…….

* Although my meeting with a rep from Creative Many keeps getting pushed back repeatedly due to bad timing on both our parts, I did attend their meet – n – greet networking shindig late last month. Even though the atmosphere in the bar was ‘ You’re on your own to extract a legitimate phone number from this jungle’ type vibe, I met a couple of artists, website contacts and even snatched up a few vittles before I exited stage left.

* Since Northland Mall will be closing its doors at the end of this month, unless a wealthy financier pops up out of the blue and seizes ownership, (A whole different story with that) I hope to follow-up with the brothers from the airbrush shop either by appointment or by Facebook. I need a project to complete and they may need some freelance dollars coming to keep them afloat.

* I’m just mentally fatigued dealing with money and constantly worrying about it whether I score or strike out with small business grants and/or handling my monthly bills. Things of that sort gives more attention to the outside world than what is important which is anything but.

* Just for your personal maintenance review and maybe to clear up any weird irregularities, make it a point to review your free personal credit reports each year via annualcreditreport.com. Simply log on, print up its request sheet, fill it out and mail it off.

* After having my blank sticky notes just looking at me and snickering while stuck with no inspiration, I recently carved out a few lines within the last couple days. With me working on the theme and tone of the second paragraph on the fly I’m attempting to carve out a new voyage with its direction, however my tendencies want to go the comfortable route. Not this time.

* A next week reminder that The Knight Foundation grant application Q+A will be the 23rd at six o’clock in The Arab American National Museum in Dearborn.

Lastly – What am I going to watch now that ‘Empire’ just wrapped up its finale earlier tonight? It’s very well acted and intriguing while encompassing real world issues with a sprinkle of Hollywood weirdness.
