Expanding The Stable

Quote of the month:

“Don’t walk in front of me, I may not follow. Don’t walk behind me, I may not lead. Walk beside me and be my friend.” – Albert Camus

1. With my inauguration into age thirty-nine yesterday, not that I haven’t already been practicing this priority already, however I’d like to re-emphasize the point of maximizing my time a little more a routinely and consistent basis. Strangely and scary enough, time flies when one repetitively makes the wrong life decisions.

2. Small business enhancement plug: As you can see I’m loving the ‘Blackanomics’ radio show so keeping in lockstep with avoiding potential trouble with my small business peers, go to http://player.piksel.com/p/kg0fmol5 to learn avoiding small business disaster.

3. Keeping true with my yearly horoscope theme of assembling more friends, professional contacts and solid associates, I had a very informative and productive meeting with Creative Many’s Ashlee Arder uncovering a goldmine of new contacts within her staff, unseen monthly events and last but not least her grand recommendation of setting up an Instagram account to look for cost-effective local photographers with some new potential spinoff art ideas. Believe me, thank you and it’s in the works.

4. I experienced a similar scenario with Cornel Ivanescu and his CI Web Design company. His business offers great website development, e-commerce strategies and worthwhile marketing deploys. We bounced a lot of ideas off each other and feel I’ll be doing some business in the near future with him. If only I had the $ right now though. He said he’d be willing to work with me but I’m very anxious to make something happen like yesterday. Sigh. #Patience

5. Surely when one door closes, another one surely widens. After engaging in a great talk with a confidant, I had to ask myself: Why do I feel like with a previous source moving from that same address that a potential new contact, who the confidant recommended I go see, is stationed at the identical address to handle the same type of business? It’s not so much about the people as it is the location. Man listen, that spot I feel will be a low-key growing hotbed for a lot of worthwhile art events in the near future.

6. Early retirement angle: Go to https://solarbonds.solarcity.com/#legend if you’re interested in buying bonds from a solar panel company for only a thousand dollars. It’s a low-key yet different type of industry and later in the year I hope to have my own IRA setup through there.

7. Knowing how to properly conclude my current poem will be a challenge, but considering where I started in late December/early January with literally nothing to start with, I wouldn’t worry about rushing the impact of the inevitable grand finale; just let it simmer a bit.

8. Shout out to all my family, friends, loved ones and associates for the birthday zings. Love ya’ll.
