Swift weather changes cut up my somewhat healthy desire for love this year. Two times this month I was sick. Maybe it was a trade-off for the lack of snow this winter, but it was a very rare space for me to be in. Oh yeah, did I mention I caught slight food poisoning from one of my favorite restaurants at the top of this month to get me initially sick?
The after effect result has been a slow bubbling month, but nonetheless I made boss moves to come across some dusted off yet unused gallery contacts I already had years ago that I promised myself I’d get around to confirming that might pay heavy dividends down the road.
Quote of the month: If you have not discovered something you feel like giving your life for, you have not yet begun living your life – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Outside of the box thought: ‘Tis the season of the year to crank up my favorite game show America loves to play: ‘My politician is less corrupt than yours’ Starring Al Sharpton, Bernie Sanders, Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, Rand Paul, Hillary Clinton, Marco Rubio, Ben Carson, John Kasich, The food and drug administration, The Federal Reserve, The International Monetary Fund, The NRA, all the lame, irrelevant political talk shows, The Tea Party band of brothers and the current incumbent, Barack Obama. Participants – please keep your premeditated race baiting, sex scandals, under the table pre-paid contributions, warped poll stats, racist quips and well-timed put downs to a minimum – I’ll be pretending to act like I give a damn while I watch ‘Family Guy’ on split screen.
Business Affairs: I had great meeting with MCS Marketing last Friday. I think we had a niche breakthrough! On top of future requests being made to patronize my product through my website via e-commerce, as a theme for each future art gallery event, a presentation of having poster-sized banners with easels for each art piece with a local poet to animate or perform three of my poems as a feature while explaining on the backend of the recital my specific interpretation of the performed poem is a sensational idea from Ms. Elizabeth Mays. Now I got to scour the internet thoroughly for a spoken word artist. It’ll be an interesting mission.
Man Law of the month……………….. Man Law#5: Bros over Hoes. Pretty self-explanatory. While they may look innocent and are generally perceived as hating their own, when push comes to shove women stick together by default as a necessity to crush the ambitious dreams of an unknowing prospect for their own selfish intentions. Need I say more?
My last serving: My condolences to the family, friends, customers and health students of Dr. Keefa Whiterspoon’s transition. I got my first aqua chi foot bath in her healing office on Nine Mile in Southfield before she moved to the Woodward Water Station. As a holistic enthusiast, I listened and watched her radio cameos and her television show on cable whenever available to receive valuable health and spiritual lessons to merge and adjust into my own health paradigm. She made an impactful mark on the naturopathic community and although this was very much unexpected, the ancestors will be forever with you, sister. God bless.
My heavy cough is lightening up day by day, so before you can blink, I’ll be at it going full blast with mental notes to stay away from hospitals, germ breeding areas at work and unprotected weather twists.
Until next month from that creative owner dude who you heard from but rarely seen lately,
