2016 Mid Term Status Exam
Look up and take a get a sense of your internal/external surroundings right now.
Questions that I ask of myself I’d like to ask of you right now:
Did you conquer the first half of 2016 as you should have?
Had adversity unexpectedly struck you?
Were you too liaise faire?
Where were your friends and relatives to bail you out when things got rough?
Here is my positive/negative balance sheet to this point –
+Will begin weight loss program immediately after my vacation next month
-Must replace my bedroom TV
+Vast improvements to my website (Thank you, MCS Multimarketing)
-Way too many deadline setbacks with certain business partners
+Networking with the young artists from the Mint Guild Art Fair for future business dealings
-Not entirely on schedule with the year 2020 almost around the corner
+My yearly Ramadan experience will only make me appreciate my struggle later on
-Am I getting much traffic and subsequent feedback from my monthly blog entries? I may need to switch it up.
Just remember: I won’t be caught up by the small things and will always embrace the bigger picture.
Quote Of The Month: The best blessings of mankind are within us, and within our reach; but we shut our eyes, and, like people in the dark, we fall foul upon the very thing we search for, without finding it ~ Unknown
Outside Of The Box Thought: The time is getting extremely close to either recharge my battery or receive a brand new visionary epiphany – Hint: Vacation!!!!!!
Man Law Song of The Month: Kool G. Rap – Operation CB. Ruining the evening for one of your peoples – whether as a joke or consciously malicious – will be considered a snake move and future shady judgment will be projected upon that individual. Man Law Penalty: 2 stripes removed from rank, 6 week ban from your inner circle and maybe even a beat down.
Business Transgressions: I received a new sketch from one of my hired illustrators and I’m very encouraged, in fact things should wrap up before next month. We intentionally took our time with this one and it’s feeling like a potential classic.
My Last Thing: Rest In Peace, Muhammad Ali. These were my immediate thoughts on the passing of The Greatest.
Summer Is Here – How are you going to enjoy it this time ‘round?
A nod, salute and a drink to the good times,
Aquil H. Rowe
