Shalom, 2016/Quote of the month: ‘If you don’t build your dream, someone else will hire you to help build theirs’ ~ Dhirubhai Ambani

Bon Voyage, 2016/Theme of The Bi-Month: To piggyback off this great quote, observe a couple of my recognitions & adjustments with the finale of 2016 upon us: 1 – Crafting new plans for my retirement nest egg. I mean look: If my small company dreams never ever materialize, creating multiple rainy day funds just make sense to stay functioning and afloat. I refuse to live off pennies from the eroding Social Security plan so performing more tries to enhance my savings now than later will assuredly produce more hits than misses and less dependence on anyone or anything contra to my paradigm. 2 – Make mandatory time frames for hired illustrations between three to six months with very rare exceptions. If the project goes beyond the allotted time frame then financial renegotiations will have to take place considering my company’s projections will need proper readjustments to be in sync with the artist’s completion date. As with any industry, there are a lot of lip service individuals and flakes, so modifications and backups optimistically will prevent further delays.

It was said to me by a Face book friend back in 2009 that certain people are only in your life for a season. Hmmm, I thought. Very profound. To expand that nugget of wisdom, after listening to a financial stock market podcast, I’d like to say that myself and my reading public that certain folks are in our lives for a reason, season or a lifetime.

I say that to say savor your relationships and let go of your toxic and/or questionable associations. Try to understand why people are around you for learning and true blue satisfaction.

Sayonara, 2016/Local Events: I attended the The Motor City Black Age Of Comics Convention on Wayne State University campus to network and recruit up and coming freelance illustrators.

Bye, 2016/Business Transgressions: While assembling some lines together to build the tone and theme, I’m still deliberately waiting for my creative spark to come about, which is why I’m ebb and flowing my poem for my current art frame.

I also hired two new freelance artists; one will be doing a remix of a previous piece while the other is constructing a new member of my intellectual property.

Finally after receiving an email from MCS Multimedia with a beautiful link to my new Etsy page distributing my product, I’m currently working on questions for last meeting in 2016 with pure focus aligning Repercussion Agendaz’ Etsy page workability in the company of my other Ubiquitous Ink E-Book future project not too far out of sight for 2017.

Adios, 2016/Man Law Of The Month: Man Law #27 – Make no more room for intolerant females. The older a man becomes, he should be at a particular elevated plateau of existence where flaking, insufferable drama or taking up the umbrage of unnecessary bullshit to court someone from the opposite sex. If she tries her hardest to sell you that she’s the best you’ll ever have, simply ignore her and find your equal in terms of cooperation, grace and sincere opportunity.

Ciao, 2016/My Last Thing: Understand and appreciate where you reside in your lives right now. Take mental inventory, learn from your mistakes, try your hardest to not repeat them, constantly keep your mind seeped in positivity and keep scheming for new goals to write down to defeat. After taking down some recent long shelved life goals, my cub bard was almost running empty so I dug deep and wrote down twenty new goals over the course of this past year to conquer on top of the ritualistic annual dues to pay. The adventure of life will never cease until you decide to relinquish it.

A Ce La Vie salute and toast to 2016.

Always think two steps ahead of the competition and the haters,

Aquil H. Rowe
