Remembering worthy old lessons while deciding to add a few new can jolt anyone’s standard for the betterment to elevate one’s progression. To my followers: While you understandably can’t remember everything being thrown at you at speeches or meetings, I just ask you to merely preserve vital directives whether by impactful quotables or acronyms. I prefer the latter.
I will use the SWOT, (Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunity, Threats) WOW (Work on Weaknesses) and FOCUS (Following One Course until Success) more when handling my time impacted projects. Currently I’m penning my latest poem to suitably match the artists’ work even as I try to reach another comfortable level where I’ll be at the immediate ready for the hopeful demand that comes my way by my Etsy account while driving traffic to read my entries.
As slow as it may feel, the universe will confidently shift in your favor, so don’t be alarmed when the break drops in your lap.
3/1/17 – Quote of the Month: ‘Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake’ ~ Napoleon
3/3/17 – Outside of The Box Thought: How comfortable would I be if I didn’t have a full-time gig and relied on my small business to earn my living? If and/or when that happens I know it will be a relatively bumpy permanent transition to feel comfortable unlearning years of clocking in or punching the clock to start a work shift.
3/22/17 – Business Transgressions: I attended a cool, small business branding lecture funded by The Prosper US Foundation and networked a tad while picking up a few wisdom marketing nuggets which align with my new SWOT, WOW and FOCUS dynamics: 1) Focus on the work/material, 2) I AM NOT THE TARGET AUDIENCE!!!, 3) Nowadays only two types of social media are necessary: Facebook and Instagram due to the high volume traffic. Take advantage of those two and the remaining supplementary social outlets will optimistically fall in line.
3/29/17 – Business Transgressions, Part 2: Although running late and feeling a tad mislead on where in the building the assembly was being held, I was able to catch the tail end of the question and answer interactive session with Mr. Salvador Salon-Pons, Director, President and CEO of the Detroit Institute of Arts. From what I understand, the DIA will be collaborating with The National Conference of Artists for future dual projects that I hope will compatibly align with my product line to mesh with the vision of their themed shows.
3/30/17 – Man Law of the Month: Man Law#60: Keep your opponent (Women) guessing while wearing the label of Asshole/Jerk like a badge of honor like you just won the UFC MMA title. I’ll let Mr. Tom Leykis explain further.
Please don’t shoot the messenger; I’m not always bulletproof. Lastly, by the way, Tom Leykis is the new Al Bundy.
3/31/17 – To Wrap This Up: Laboring for a well-rounded life experience can be trying, however the end result of tasting its fruits in respect to the quest for worthy understanding make it enjoyable and worth the great effort approaching the last lap of my age forty cycle.
As I get older I may need a consistent afternoon nap to regain my energy level, but I’m always ready to go hard at Life when I get back up!
‘Show’s over ya’ll,
Aquil H. Rowe
