Frustratingly Old Dimensions Revisited

1) Intro: After my recently quick Detroit Soup Hi & Bye networking engagement two Sundays ago, I met a contact with another supposedly One Stop Shop haven with a focus on developing small businesses. *Exhale* Not that I’m not appreciative of the interaction and new potential dealing and all…..Um, look can I be honest? This past week I looked back at all the other former allies on university campuses or upcoming/established building structures and I pondered if making the move over at the new sanctuary would end up like the other underwhelming tradeoffs over the years that have disintegrated only for me to refocus on a new support system that I may or may not have at my disposal at that time.

Rationally, it’s not all dismal as I pronounce it; it’s just that I think of how much time & money I could’ve saved if I trusted the right people as well as knowing how to have those groups prove their value to me. I acknowledge my weaknesses on the marketing front, nonetheless it takes a village to raise a child so when no one is dependably present to assist me the inevitable wall of stagnation doesn’t get pierced.

2) Business Transgressions & The Entrepreneurial Push: On your spare time, please read this gratifying article by Carolyn Edlund on utilizing the best current sources and apps for outsourcing your day in & day out daily duties. Very good read.

3) Quote of the Bi-Month: ‘A problem shared is a problem halved’ ~ Unknown

4) Outside of box thought: After visiting two different T-Shirt printing stores, I remembered a file on one of my flash drives with the idea of making my own shirts but not having a company that could understand my focus I envision in addition to requiring the funds in case the market response was strong enough to take off with covering orders. At some point early next year, I may have to revisit that file.

5) Local Events: I’ve noticed more & more art galleries are emerging on the Eastside of Detroit on Gratiot. In my future sales pitch to be featured in the gallery, the one question I ask myself is ‘Will they get me?’ ‘Will they understand my style?’. 2020 is right around the corner.

Of course this is supposed to offend the weak……..It’s Man Law!!!!!!

6) Man Law #125 – Video Thesis: ‘If women kept it a buck’. When the scaling dating balance is not equal through a social lens, honest disclosure makes the lines of communication easier to understand what both parties are feeling and seeking. Here’s a man’s prospective on how if some women really kept things honest with those same proportionate men, more healthy couples would be the norm in the field rather than the typical toxic train wrecks we see out here. Enjoy.

7) To wrap this up: Whether I decide to deal with another small business incubator will be on me, but if I do let’s just fast forward to the part where I’m struggling and insert them to find ways to enhance and maintain all projected success quotas.
