Early this month I was thinking of trying to diversify all levels of my businesses and beyond – so I thought ‘Who are examples of such that have successfully reinvented their selves over and over again?’

Candidates:

Magic Johnson (Personalized debit cards, movie theaters, real estate conglomerates, Late night TV show host, Previous owner of the Lakers/Current owner of the Dodgers and film productions.)

Master P: (Music labels, Reality tv cameo, ‘Dancing with the stars’, Acting, Model agency, Sports agency.) 

Marcus Garvey (Independent Black Star Line cruise ships with accommodating stock portfolios.)

For the time being I’ll go with Magic. Key motive: He always puts himself in a position where he rarely fails while being surrounded with smart people to pick him up in any areas where he may be weak.
